Why Physician-Led Matters
The ketamine clinic landscape has expanded rapidly in Arizona, with wide variation in clinical standards. Some clinics are staffed primarily by nurse practitioners with remote or minimal physician oversight. At Innerbloom, every infusion is physician-supervised start to finish.
Dr. Andrew Zabel is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with years of experience managing IV medications, hemodynamic monitoring, and acute care. He is present — not on call. Ketamine affects heart rate, blood pressure, and airway reflexes. It requires clinical judgment, not just protocol adherence. Innerbloom is also veteran-owned — a distinction that matters to many patients, particularly veterans and first responders.
What to Expect as a New Patient
Every patient relationship begins with a free physician intake — a genuine clinical consultation, not a screening form. Dr. Zabel reviews your history, listens to your goals, and gives you his honest assessment of whether ketamine is appropriate. If you're a candidate, you'll receive a specific treatment recommendation, typically an induction series of 4–6 IV infusions over 2–3 weeks. Integration support and ongoing maintenance are available afterward. See our pricing page for complete details.
